Michamvi Sandbank
Complimentary shuttle for our hotel guests to a nearby sandbank. Please ask guest relations to arrange the captain for you. You will be dropped at the island and picked up after one hour.

Kuza Cave
Culture Centre
A hidden Gem tucked away in the tropical jungle of Jambiani. A unique experience for adventurous nature-lovers. Discover the ancient limestone cave and crystal-clear healing mineral water pod. See artifacts from the cave and a timeline of Swahili history going back to the beginning of our story as humans originating in East Africa.
You will cross a small bridge then walk along a few steps to the base of the well-lit cave to find a large pool formed by a subterranean river. The area is a wildlife sanctuary for dozens of monkeys, birds, butterflies and bushbabies.Local

Stone
Town
Stone Town is a very lively place where you’ll find a mixture of Arabic, African, Indian and European cultures living comfortably together. A unique blend of cultures and tolerances where you will see mosques, churches, and temples all side by side.
While you wonder around the city, your guide will take you on a historical and cultural journey through the old slave market, Darajani market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort and the Sultan’s Palace. Stone town was constructed from coral stone in the 19th and 20th century and was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000.

Spice Tour
Spices and herbs were originally introduced to Zanzibar by Portuguese traders in the 16th century, brought from their colonies in South America and India. Zanzibar is commonly referred to as spice island.
This tour is a walking tour in a spice farm (shamba). While there, you shall see how the spices, herbs and fruits grow and are cultivated. Your tour guide will describe how the crops can be used. In many instances you will be fascinated for what some of the plants are used for in everyday life.
You will be smelling and tasting spices, herbs and tropical fruits such as clove, lemongrass, nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, coconuts, papaya, chili, black pepper, jackfruit, cardamom, cassava and oranges.

Prison Island
The original building on the island was built in 1893 and was originally intended to house violent prisoners from the mainland and sick people.
You will get the opportunity to visit the tortoise sanctuary, which contains a large colony of giant tortoise imported from the Seychelles in the late 19th century. The average weight of these creatures is 200 kg, and many of them are saidto be over 150 years old. There will be a chance to touch the tortoise and take photos. The island is also a hometo a colony of beautiful peacocks.
The island is also home to some of the most beautiful coral in Zanzibar, ideal for a fantastic snorkeling experience.

Dolphin Tour
One of the most famous experiences on the island. The dolphin experience is second to none. This is your chance to swim and interact with wild dolphins in their natural habitat. The tour starts in the early morning before sunrise.

Blue Safari
Enjoy a full day out at sea filled with fun and relaxing aquatic activities in the crystal-clear turquoise water of the protected Menai Bay Area. Sail in a traditional Swahili dhow boat and stop on the way to snorkel, relax on the beach of a sandbank and island, get to know the mangrove forest.
There are several opportunities to swim in the ocean, in the shallow waters around the sandbank and island or the mangrove forest lagoon. We will take you swimming in the lagoon for an unforgettable experience, climbing on the amazing giant Baobab trees that can be found on the island. In some cases, your trip may have special visitors whereby the dolphins will join you while you are sailing.

Mnemba Island
Recently declared a marine conservation area, Mnemba Island is a coral atoll surrounded by thriving, vibrant reefs and the crystal-clear Indian Ocean.
The waters are teeming with an overwhelming number of beautiful tropical reef fish, green turtles graze peacefully amongst the heads of plate and honeycomb corals, and a resident pod of curious bottle-nosed dolphins that appear often and offer the chance for visitors to interact with these splendid marine mammals in a natural environment.

Jozani Forest

Jozani Forest is best known for its red colobus monkeys, which are endemic to Zanzibar. About 20 years ago, the monkeys were considered to be in danger of extinction. This trend has since reversed due to the conservation project. There are about 6000 red colobus monkeys residing in Jozani Forest.
After visiting the red colobus, you will walk across to the Jozani Mangrove Boardwalk. It entwines through coral thicket vegetation, mangrove forest and across a creek. You walk through mangrove forest, which is extremely crucial to Zanzibar’s ecosystems, providing a habitat for many lizards, snakes and birdlife as well as preventing the coastal erosion.
Tumbatu Exclusive
Tumbatu is one of Zanzibar’s best kept secrets as the vast majority are forbidden from entering the island. In order to enter the island, we have received special permission from the elder of the community.
This island is famous for where the Shiraz built the first stone building in the entire Zanzibar Archipelago in the 11th century.This is ultimately a village tour, which starts first from the local fish market, you will also visit local schools, house of the fisherman’s family, witch doctor, the historical ruins, and depending on the tide a nearby sandbank. One of the highlights of the tour is sitting with local villagers to learn about the history and secrets of the island.

Butterfly Centre
Get to know the endemic species of Zanzibar’s butterflies with a visit to the Zanzibar Butterfly Centre (ZBC) in the heart of the island close to the Jozani Forest. The interactive and visual environment offers a pleasant experience for adults and children alike.
You can be part of the feeding ritual and, if you wish, let the butterflies fly close to your hand. The Centre focuses on three areas: educational visits, conservation and butterfly farming.
The butterfly farming is done in cooperation with around 40 farmers from the nearby village of Pete.
